Cue Sheet template preview

The cue sheet is the master list of every technical cue in the show, in calling order. Stage managers use it to check the cues in the prompt book, and designers use it to keep their consoles in step with the book.

Each row has cue number, department, script page, where the standby is given, exactly where the GO is called (a word, an action or a count), what happens, the time or count and notes. List every department on one sheet, or print one sheet per department.

How to use this template

  1. 1Enter cues in calling order as they are set in paper tech.
  2. 2Record the department and script page for each cue.
  3. 3Note where the standby is given and the exact GO placement.
  4. 4Number inserted cues with decimals or letters, for example 12.5 or 12A.
