The daily call tells every actor when and where to be. It goes out the evening before each rehearsal and is posted on the callboard, so it has to be clear at a glance.
The left side lists cast members with first call, room and a sign-in column. The right side breaks the day down by time, scene and pages. Boxes at the bottom cover general notes and costume fittings or other appointments.
How to use this template
- 1Write the date and the span of the day (first call to release).
- 2List each called actor with their first call time and room.
- 3Break the day down by time, scene or pages, and who is needed.
- 4Add fittings and notes, then send it out and post it on the callboard.
